    Description

5 pc Setting CCC China Civilian Conservation Corps CUP & SAUCER Bowl 2 Plates.
The CCC - Civilian Conservation Corps was a voluntary public work relief program began in 1933 by FDR. It was part of Roosevelt’s New Deal and operated from 1933 to 1942 in the United States for unemployed, unmarried men ages 18–25 and eventually expanded to ages 17–28. Robert Fechner was the first director of this agency, succeeded by James McEntee following Fechner's death.
This lot of 5 pieces includes a dinner plate, bread and butter plate, a fruit compote and a cup and saucer. This is the last coffee cup I have, if you need a cup and saucer you should bid on this lot like you’re mad at your money.
This dinnerware was used in the CCC work camp mess halls and cafeterias. These pieces are about 88 years old and are in very, nice condition. If you’re looking at this listing you probably already know how extremely scarce this dinnerware is. Finding 5 pieces in this condition is not going to happen very often, if ever. There are no cracks or chips but there is some minor areas of crazing, it’s very minimal on most of the pieces, however, the bread & butter plate has obvious crazing. You should be able to get a better view of that in the last two pics in this listing.
This package will weigh just over 3 lbs when safely packed and shipped, buyer pays actual USPS Priority shipping charges.
