    Description

Amazing old postcard showing Edgeley, North Dakota. According to the web, the population of Edgeley was 553 in 2010.
The writer was a teacher. She wrote:
"Back at teaching again, but my school has the pinkeye, so I did not go home last night, I have not got it yet, hope I don't for it goes hard on weak eyes. Well how is traveling, swell I suppose. Had two postals from Dr. R. this week, also one of Rose's cards. Did you take the wedding M. I suppose it was swell. To-day is Sat. and I certainly don't know what to do. There is a Woodsman blowout at Amboy tonight and I guess Johnson's are going and I guess I will go along."
The card was posted from Amboy MN, so apparently the writer went to the blowout. Now I want to know...what is a woodsman blowout? If you know, please message me. I love learning the history of these old cards.
