This is a fine bone china cup and saucer by Foley China Co, E Brain Co Ltd in England.   Please see the photos.  The mark dates the item between 1936-1963.  The company had a good reputation for quality product.
This cup and sauce is very pretty with soft colors.  The cup is footed and there is gold gilding on the lightly scalloped rim, the handle and two thin bands on the outside of the cup.  The marks are clearly legible.  The pattern number is V2372.
This cup measures 2" in height and the bowl has a 2 7/8" diameter.  The saucer has a 4 5/8" diameter.  These pieces are in very good condition.  They do not have any crazing, cracks, chips or damage that I can see or feel.
