    Description

    This is a 1915 certificate, number 1781,  for 500 shares of Golden Cycle Mining and Reduction Company capital stock, the "largest cyanide mill in the U.S., Daily capacity 1200 tons".  Absolutely beautiful large vignette of the industrial manufacturing site.  The stock was sold to a Mr. E.P. Shove who was with the Pueblo Title and Trust Company in Colorado Springs, who was involved in backing up securities for at least one company that failed due to a strike and signed the certificate.
