Mettler Toledo V20S Volumetric Titrator
Like New In Box - Complete Set – Fully Working
This is a late 2017 model Mettler Toledo V20S Volumetric Karl Fischer Titrator, in Like-New condition with only faint signs of use.
Unit is packaged in original shipping box with foam inserts (many parts have been placed in aftermarket Ziploc bags).
Unit has the complete original documentation set, including paperback and electronic manuals, and certificates of conformity and quality.
It also contains all the original accessories including 1L media bottle and Molecular Sieves(unopened).
The unit has all parts (tubing, seals, etc.) necessary to fully assemble the titrator to working condition as shown in photo (user will need to supply other media bottles (solvent, titrant, etc.), the bottles in the photo labeled “Not Included” are only used to show the titrator in its fully assembled state).
The unit powers on quickly.
There is no way to properly test the titrator without solvent, titrant, and water standards, but the individual functions were operated from the settings menu: the magnetic stirrer, solvent manager (solvent inlet + waste removal pump), and burette plunger were all independently cycled/turned-on and found to be working.
Cosmetic Flaws/Blemishes: Unit and all parts appear clean with no visible residues or corrosion.
Parts that are meant to be in contact with the reaction vessel or titrant reservoir do have minor discoloration, appearing as a yellowish-brown color, but this is normal due to exposure to iodine in the titrant, and will continue to discolor with any additional use.
There are a few spots of yellowing where drops of iodine solution hit the plastic, front-panel protective display cover, but there is no similar staining or marks on the unit itself.
There also appears to be some Styrofoam residue that has adhered to the solvent manager cable during storage, though this is cosmetic only.
All noted blemishes are visible in the provide pictures.
Unit is sold as-is with no returns accepted. This unit was one time (by chemists) before determining that a Coulometric titrator would be better suited for their application.
