This is a Starcase ATA Star 1/4” suitcase, weighing in at 27 lbs 9.5 oz. Not counting the handles, wheels, or bulked out corners, the main rectangular case is 23 3/4” x 13 3/4” x 11”. It’s hard to give exact dimensions of the inside, as there is custom foam made for a projector. Some of the foam is coming off the inside walls, so you should be able to customize it for whatever you need it for. Two of the interior dimensions are 22 1/2” x 12 1/2”, but I’m not sure how deep it goes.
The condition certainly shows it’s use as a suitcase. There are several locations where stickers or labels were ripped off. Some of the metal parts have corroded spots on the surface. The big hinge has a dent that isn’t as easy to see, but it’s there. When it’s open, there is a small gap around it. There’s plenty of scratches and dings, plus one of the corners has a big scuff and another one is dented in.
There are three heavy duty handles for carrying, and one telescopic handle for when you want to roll it along. One side has two heavy duty clasps made by Southco. One has a spot for a key, but the key is missing. The non-locking clasp folds flush. The locking clasp does not fold flush, as the metal lock bar is in the way. If you need it to be absolutely flush, you will need a key, or just bend the metal bar. The key is not needed for the suitcase to function unless you need it lockable.
